I can add only default postman and up to 3 predefined: dg2, skank, r4sas.

can add

Code: Select all

http://opentracker.simp.i2p/a
Also http://simp.i2p/external_status gives a list of trackers seen in the last week for copy pasting

http://wiki.i2p-projekt.i2p/wiki/index. ... n_trackers

Maybe add to the wiki instead of a forum post?

Is there a difference between "opentracker.eeptorrent.i2p" and "tracker.eeptorrent.i2p"? They seem to lead to different b32s. "Tracker." loads for me, while "Opentracker." does not.

And "Tracker." displays the b32 of "Opentracker." at the bottom.

finally added most of simps services to the wiki, but i'm also pretty lazy. i'll just stick to keeping http://simp.i2p/external_status updated but lots of stuff pop up for a short time just to die when people lose interest so imo feel like it makes sense to wait a bit to add stuff to wiki. Thanks for adding eepptorrents tracker

opentracker.eeptorrent.i2p is the correct one afaik, "tracker" was the first one before changing so if it's working it may or may not be intentional. after registering "tracker" sounds like hk was thinkin "opentracker" might be slightly better for visibility or something.

added
http://simp.i2p/external_status/trackers.txt - tracker list seen in last week, one per line

Code: Select all

./eepget http://simp.i2p/external_status/trackers.txt

Code: Select all

wget -e use_proxy=yes -e http_proxy=127.0.0.1:4444 http://simp.i2p/external_status/trackers.txt

Code: Select all

curl --proxy "127.0.0.1:4444" http://simp.i2p/external_status/trackers.txt
and
http://simp.i2p/external_status/trackers for JSON

eeptracker & omnitorrent trackers do not work at all.

Neither as a public tracker nor as private tracker [when used to upload in postman]

Working Trackers :-

DO NOT WORK :-

both eeptracker and omitracker at least appear to be working for me, omitracker shows around 2500 peers on the page and i was able to get peer info from them. They both have the latest i2p update 0FD4832BB40ECCBB8C1D16D5C51A80FD2147B941, with 6 seeds on omitracker and 2 on eeptorrent.

Omitracker i remember being around for a while and generally working ok, eeptorrent is relatively new and still shows very few total peers though...i suspect hk needs to adjust settings for throttling, might be fucking with announce

haven't seen hk in a bit, but if you see this i noticed on my own tracker and had to adjust some settings from stock zzzot, using similar to what skank uses now if you want those

After browsing through forums, I did add it to 5+ torrents on uploaded on Postman.

But BiglyBT regularly gave me notifications of it not working at all, checked from all trackers view and it never updated not even once for any torrent.

Tried with qBittorrent same "not working".

In the end, removed it completely.

Simp.i2p is working properly though. Thanks for making it public rather than private :D

confirming omitracker does work at least with snark, i added a couple of torrents there to test and they announce correctly and could scrape those hashes. qbittorrent doesn't seem to like it, gave an unexpected EOF error earlier. i'm not sure what kind of tracker it is, i don't think it's zzzot

eeptorrent one seems to work "sometimes," shows up as working on qbittorrent now, i suspect it's a settings issue on their side if too many announces happen at once

welcome, figured that might be more useful than a private one (and easier to setup lol).
