I2P+ I2PSnark Standalone

According to its self-description, "I2P+ I2PSnark" is an improved version of the Java-based BitTorrent client I2PSnark (which you probably know because it is still the most widely used BitTorrent client despite alternatives).
I wanted to take a look at it since the basic version of I2PSnark does not have alternative descriptions for the icons used (alt=""), for whatever reason. Unfortunately, "I2P+ I2PSnark" is not suitable for WWW browsers in text mode. With links2 or eww the user gets nothing to see, with w3m and lynx the lack of JavaScript is pointed out and that without it there may be problems in handling.
It can also be difficult on the desktop if your default browser does not meet the requirements; this can prevent the "launch on startup".
The configuration directory of the client is only created after its first start and the "i2psnark.config" contained therein only after you have configured something via the interface in the browser.
The plus-client uses the same IP address and port as the simple version. Running both at the same time will be difficult, if one program has occupied the port, the other program will start, but you cannot access it. If you want to change the port, for example, you should be able to use tools such as "grep", as the configuration has its limits.
In Firefox, "I2P+ I2PSnark" shows itself in all its splendor. It comes with 7 themes that are similar in American style to those of the better-known local websites. The font size is also striking here, as the designer consistently disregards the recommendations of the browser manufacturers. Anyone looking at this on a 4K monitor ... I'd rather not go into that, we're already used to it enough from websites and old forums on the Internet, so I'd rather use a TUI.
The settings made for the initial start are imaginative and there is even a tiny blacklist that can be used to prevent "DO_NOT_MIRROR.exe". During my short test run, I noticed that the bandwidth settings repeatedly changed themselves without my intervention; when changing the language setting, an error message also appears, telling you to stick to the default format.
The manufacturer's description can be found on one of the download pages, for example.
