discuss I2P

I want to diversify where I'm getting my links from. notbob has a very good link directory in my opinion and I do like his site and his blog but I don't think I should be solely relying on one link directory alone.

website.i2p is an alternative in my opinion but some people might not like the hot dog style coloring on there. it's the closest thing you can get to a good link directory as you can find personal reviews on there.

letsdecentralize.i2p is technically a link directory. I find it quite helpful as I have found sites not listed on notbobs directory. this was also the first ever site I have ever visited for links.

I am a bit wary of identiguy due to the disclaimer on top of the site...

what are some of your favorite link directories and why do you recommend them?

a lot of the titles from letsdecentralize look familiar so i'd bet most of them probably are on notbob minus the ones they host, but i'm lazy so i'm not going to do lookups lol. not sure if they registered the ones they host as human readable. i have a small one on http://simp.i2p/external_status. http://i2pnews.simp.i2p/feedlinks has a list of online RSS feeds. word of caution that notbob and stats are moderated, sites from unmoderated indexers like reg and inr (inr pulls from stats and reg) could have unsafe sites.

snex, notbob and i are scanning unregistered sites now for fun, i'll likely have a moderated index of my own finds up soon. channel #scanners in irc2p.

It's pretty cool that you run a link directory. honestly, I thought you and Simp were two separate people. but I never looked at the site deep enough to notice nor make the connection...

I was actually searching for a working Invidious Instance and I finally found one! Javascript may be disabled on this browser but later I'll find a safe way of running it without being exposed (Probably just going to use whonix)... either way, this one is definitely not on Notbobs...

also, cool music player! though I think it needs space deliria by dr.awesome... just a suggestion.

thanks it didn't really start that way, at first i wanted to just track torrent tracker uptime, then a couple people linked to it so i started adding stuff i like lol

glad i2pnews is getting some use, i try to keep up on new feeds to add when i find them

if you ever stumble on working invidious nudge me somewhere it's always touch and go with those i don't think i've come accross any new ones from my scanner either

first time hearing deliria by dr.awesome it's interesting should look for some sort of retro type playlist it could sit in
