Trouble with law enforcement when running i2p? (Europe)

Hello there,
I am fairly new to i2p and I have been wondering for some time now if I can get in trouble for running an i2p router in Europe? I did run one for 2 weeks permanently on my RPi but for the sake of stability and bandwith as well as some major technical difficulties running some stuff on ARM chips, I wanted to switch over to a VPS.
Out of comfort and the good price I would like to host my VPS with a service that then would know some basic informations about me since they do not provide crypto payments.
Is there any known cases of people running i2p routers being hunted down by law enforcement?

While I do not do anything illegal, I still would prefer not to have police in front of my door one day :=)

i can't speak to the safety of running i2p in a particular area, http://i2p-projekt.i2p/en/about/restrictive-countries could be useful. you can setup vps anonymously with http://incognet.i2p, pay with monero, ssh over tor/i2p, or could setup a proxychain to make it appear to isp like you're using a regular vpn. though i2p will work in hidden mode, this might be the safest way to do it. you could use i2p in hidden mode to ssh to the router in vps. probably other good hosts i'm unaware of, you'll find something cheaper on lowendbox, but incognet has earned a good reputation for this sort of thing.

if you're using tunnels in tor/i2p to access a remote router small word of caution to password protect the router console, use encrypted leaseset for i2p, and for socks proxy with tor check to make sure sensitive ports aren't passed
